About Us

ADAPT Publishing Company was founded by Melvin Collins, Jr., M.Ed., LPC, APA and Yolanda L. Salazar. Their background consists of over 28 years of experience in counseling, working with disabled workers, administering federal housing programs, training and managing outplacement efforts for companies across the nation.

The ADAPT Companies Team consists of a highly qualified group of education and placement specialists. The Team is equipped to address the issues of hiring/placement, employee development, succession planning, outplacement, as well as support services for unemployed and underemployed individuals. All staff members have completed Masters Degrees or advanced study in their respective areas of expertise and have an average 25 years of experience in the field.

The Team is represented by licensed professional counselors, rehabilitation placement specialists, certified professionals in counseling, guidance, and assessment usage, and veteran professionals in the areas of management, human resources, and organizational development. The Team is equipped to offer training and full support for our Spanish-, French-, and Vietnamese-speaking clients as well as signage for hearing-impaired participants.
